I was born and raised locally in Portland, Oregon before relocating the beautiful city of Bend. Growing up the Pacific Northwest afforded me endless hours out in nature. I have always been an athlete with a passion for Football, Swimming, Hiking and surfing (in my much younger years!). I was born with an innate gift to feel others’ emotions in an intense and confusing way. After going through a hard time and the loss of my father in my early 20s I found Massage therapy and my passion for healing. I decided to pursue Massage Therapy as career and way to use my gift as an empath and feeling peoples’ energy and feelings to help heal them. Fast forward 10 years later and I discovered acupuncture after being involved in a number of car accidents and looking for a new way to treat the pain wholistically. After researching Acupuncture schools I discovered that we had 2 of the nations top schools right in my own backyard. After considering each program and what they had to offer I decided to pursue an education at National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). After spending five years learning from some of the best and brightest in the field and getting to experience things hands on in a clinical setting I am now ready to pursue my dreams as an Acupuncturist. I plan to utilize what I learned in school and my 15 years’+ experience as an LMT to treat my patients and help alleviate their ailments. Starting my career in Bend, OR is an absolute dream come true and I could not be more excited! I have always loved the mountains and spending time in Central Oregon. On a personal note, I am blessed to have an amazing wife and 2 beautiful dogs to explore this wonderful new city with.

Treatment Philosophy My goal with every patient is to reduce pains of all types and from a variety of different injuries or illnesses. In Chinese Medicine it is said our job is to introduce the patient to their own body experiences and Traumas. Through exploring your body experiences and traumas, it opens your heart and mind for healing. Through the use of herbs, needling and hands on techniques I work to harmonize disease with the intent upon transformation of the system to bring my patients to a state of ease. I will utilize the methods of Classical Chinese medicine to help heal my patients and set them on a path of being able to live their life to the fullest once more.
